We noticed that some merchants were having difficulty adding products and variants to their subscription plans and groups. One of the primary pain points was based around finding products that they want to add.
We discovered that product and variant searching needs to be improved and to get the ball rolling on this area we started by no longer requiring products to be searched for. Now when you try to add a product we are going to automatically pull your most popular products and variants in by default.
We hope that this change will help to ease the initial steps of creating subscription products for your store.
